A PASSION FOR GLOBAL EDUCATION

My name is Maria Adriana and I am a specialist counsellor as well as head of our study-abroad programmes.

The project grew out of my own experience with my children's study-abroad paths. That experience showed me both the immense opportunities and the gaps in traditional programmes, and pushed me to create something unique that puts the student and their individual needs at the centre.

That is why I work to build something genuinely different: a path where the student and their individual needs shape every decision. My goal is an experience that does not simply meet traditional standards, but is personalised, engaging and able to bring out the potential in every young person.

Drawing on my professional and personal experience, I designed an innovative approach that combines expertise and passion, giving young people an opportunity to grow not only academically, but also as people and within another culture.

VALENTINA VOCI

Valentina is known for her excellent organisational skills and her versatility. After completing her studies in Italy, she broadened her expertise by studying marketing in London, an experience that gave her an international perspective and an innovative approach to work. Her career began in marketing and press relations, and she later worked in fashion, further refining her management and coordination skills.

Today she devotes herself with passion to international mobility for young students. As the mother of children who have lived exchange experiences abroad, Valentina understands deeply what families and young people need on these journeys.

With great empathy and care, she also helps students who want to continue their university studies abroad, guiding them towards the academic path that fits their ambitions, needs and goals.

Thanks to her empathetic approach and her dedication, she works to build cultural bridges, giving young people the chance to grow, explore new realities and develop international skills.

SOFIA BARTOLOMEO

Sofia is a young professional with a strong international background. After finishing secondary school in Italy she continued her academic training at some of Europe's most respected institutions, attending universities in Spain, France and the United Kingdom. Those experiences gave her a solid understanding of different educational cultures and of what international students need.

Specialised in digital and social marketing, her expertise goes well beyond university theory: she gained significant practical experience through internships and work with several companies in the field. Her main responsibility at RLS International is maintaining and strengthening relationships with partner schools, ensuring effective, constructive communication that makes organising study-abroad programmes easier.

She also looks after the RLS International brand. Thanks to her digital marketing skills she positions the brand effectively across digital channels, creating content that reflects the company's mission and values and managing promotional campaigns aimed at reaching and engaging a global audience.

JONATHAN HEDLEY

Jonathan arrived in Rome in 2001 and soon discovered his vocation for teaching English as a second language. After international experience across the United States, France and London, he returned to the capital with a clear goal: to create a language school that truly puts students first.

That is how RLS was born, an innovative school distinguished by a dynamic, tailored teaching approach. With a team of highly qualified native-speaker teachers, it quickly became a point of reference for English teaching, offering corporate courses, lessons at home and personalised paths for students of every level aiming at language certifications.

With Maria Adriana joining, RLS introduced a new strand dedicated to academic paths abroad and guidance for international study, supporting students in choosing and preparing for study experiences outside Italy.

After years of dedication and innovation in education, in 2024 he chose a new adventure, leaving the school he had created to devote himself fully to writing and his other passions. His teaching philosophy remains a legacy that lives on in RLS and in everyone who is part of it.
